Davidson Oil Company was founded in 1974 by Joe Ted Davidson, who was involved in the drag-racing scene for more than 50 years. Joe Ted passed away in 2010 -- but not before achieving a class win in his final race at the Amarillo Dragway in the fall of 2009.
